For 16 years olds generally 6 hours with a certified driving instructor to get the permit, to then do 50 hours with a parent or an adult over 21 that had their driving license for at least 3 years. For adult driving lessons, it’s more about how fast do you learn there is no set requirement. However, most complete beginners take (4) to (10) hours of professional instruction to become test ready.

Do I need my permit before lessons start?

Not if you’re a teen. We help you get and validate your permit as part of the process, then start your behind-the-wheel hours. If you purchase adult driving lessons, you would have to get your permit before we can start your lessons.
